A New Bear

Hi again, I am back to the bears this week and have just finished this little two toned bear called Spice.  He is approximately 6 inches high.

 Spice is created from a lovely spicy tipped mohair in tan colours with cream mohair head and tummy insert. His paw and foot pads are chocolate brown 100% German wool felt.
He looks at you through premium black glass eyes and his nose is hand embroidered in tan cotton pearl thread, I have gently shaded his face to bring out a soulful gaze.
Spice is fully 5 way cotter pin jointed and is filled with a mixture of poly/cotton and stainless steel shot for a lovely heavy feel in the palm of your hand.

Spice is finished off with a neck decoration of wooden beads in colours to match is fur.  He has a Valewood Bears label in his back and will come to you with a card with all his details on and my signature.

A New Creation

Hello, having a change from the bears this week and I am delighted to introduce little Libby, my new piggy.  Libby is approximately 6.5 inches standing, I created her in vintage style and used various aging techniques for a well loved look. I used pale pink mohair and her pads and inner ears and snout are white cashmere fabric. She has premium black glass eyes giving her a soulful gaze.  Libby is 5 way cotter pin jointed and filled with poly/cotton and stainless steel shot for a lovely heavy feel for her size.  She is wearing a lovely knitted top with pink flower trim and a little lacey bow to her head.

New Bear - Rose - Marie

 Please meet Rose-Marie just finished and ready for adoption,  She is approx 10" high standing, to create her I used a beautiful shade of pink fluffy Alpaca fur. 
Her paw and foot pads have needle felted little toes in grey merino leaving little tufts of fur between her toes. 
She has premium black glass eyes to which I have added white accents for a lovely soulful gaze and a hand embroidered nose in grey cotton pearl thead.
Rose-Marie has a cotter pin jointed head and her limbs are all nut and bolt jointed.

She is filled with a mixture of poly/cotton and stainless steel shot for a lovely weight.

 I made Rose-Marie a pretty crochet collar from white pure cotton yarn and added pretty crochet flowers in colours to match her fur, then added little pearly bead closure.
