SUMMER COLLECTION

At last I have finished the summer collection of bears I have been working on, I know there are only 5 but I am quite a slow bear maker and like to put lots of finishing touches to them, I have named them all afer flowers, we have Rose (pink girl at the back), Petunia (lilac on the left), Sweet Pea (pink n cream panda, Lupin (blue girl) and finally Marigold at the front. I have really enjoyed working with colour as most of my pieces are neutral colours with just the occasional splash of colour emerging every now and then.  I have popped them all onto my website, do go along and have a look at their pictures and details, there are also some nice little new outfits on the "clothes page" available to choose from.

Well back to the work room where I have some more neutral fabrics waiting to be cut out.

Hi Pauline.... I was looking at an old posting on my own blog...and you were one of my commenters sort of regularly in those days.... so I popped over to see if you had updated and I had missed it... you were sometimes more regular than others..much like me.

I love this picture of the little family of furry friends..

how are you? Hope you are well. Up to anything new and interesting? Still making bears...

I've just begun an embroidery class with a UK lady ..Karen Ruane... she makes lovely things...

I did embroidery as a kid...but, haven't done it for years... can't even get the French knots right ..hahhah.... oh, well..it'll be fun all the same...

just wanted to pop over to say hello....

Aaaah Hi Veronica, lovely to hear from you, I have been away from blogging for ages and just seen your message, glad to hear you are still crafting and embroidery is so lovely much better than cross stitch and so intricate, how is the doll making? I have moved house this last year from Yorkshire down to Suffolk where Charlotte has lived for 5 years, been so busy selling our previous house, moving into rented, then finding this one and completed and moved in this June, so just settling in and getting back into the swing of things with blogging, bear making and listing on the website etc, will have to book some fairs as I cancelled my ones in Yorkshire. Will bob over to your blog soon and see what you are up to, lovely to hear from you again..... Pauline x
